JERZU WINE FESTIVAL - CALICI DI STELLE 2011
Jerzu Wine Festival is one of the most expected events in Sardinia summer. Jerzu celebrates its Cannonau with a charming and magical path that goes from the old amphitheater and up the streets of the town and the historic center. On August 10, closes the festival Calici di Stelle: in the old wine cellars, some built into the rock, are served the finest wines produced from the Antichi Poderi Cooperative, together with local products (is culurgionis, is coccoi prenas, wild boar stew, sausages, cheese, dessert), all animated by the presence of street performers (jugglers, stilt walkers, clowns), with notes of rock concerts, jazz, reggae and swing artists who perform in the boxes distributed along the "Wine Route". At midnight, fireworks lit up the night of San Lorenzo.
